IMPACT WRESTLING KNOCKOUTS DIVISION IS FOUR NAMES SHORTER

Maria Kanellis-Bennett, Jade, Raquel and Gail Kim are the four women out of TNA Impact Wrestling! As Gail Kim will eventually return to the Impact zone, for now it's sure that Kanellis, the other two women are out of the company's Knockouts roster.

We have a lot of new faces like Diamante (Priscilla Zuniga), Alisha (Alisha Edwards- Nevaeah), some old-faces like ODB, Brooke and Angelina Love, but the release of Jade, which is more shocking and Maria, with Mike Bennett's departure are those with some huge impact!

Raquel or Gabi Castrovinci, was released at the beginning of the year. The Brazilian wrestler didn't have a lot of TV time as a competitor. Her talent was wasted in Impact, and this promotion didn't do anything for her.

It looked like the large promotions didn't want to do anything with her, while the small indies companies appreciated Castrovinci's talent and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills. She is curently champion in several small promotions and a one half of the SHINE Tag Team Champions with Santana Garrett. We'll wait to see more from her in the future!

On March 2, episode of Impact Mia Yim or Jade, wrestled her last match for Impact Wrestling! The excuse for her release was that the officials wanted to concentrate on a youngest and new talents (she's only 27 years old).

For me this release is way more shocking that Maria and Mike's release. Jade was a prospective Knockout with one title win. She was dynamic and powerful at the same time and she worked well with the other Knockouts. I can't see how the new owners explain their concentration on the newest talents by releasing Jade and hiring Angelina Love, back!   My hopes for her is to set the things out with WWE and to return to NXT!

Maria Kanellis-Bennett, is sort of mature. She proved that there is a life outside WWE, she proved that she can be more than a bimbo-babyface!

Since March 1, she, her husband Mike Bennett, The Hardy Boyz, Drew Galloway and Jade were all leaving Impact. Actually, Maria got one title reign with the company, and all we can remeber from her run with this company was the constant intrigues and the elevation of Allie's character. I don't know where the road will lead her, but I hope that she will continue to wrestle.
Gail Kim contract had expired. The Hall of Famer promised to return to Impact Zone after the recovery and they will sign her, because she is one of their really famous names and she is one of the greatest female wrestlers.

Today I have read something really interesting, how she quit WWE, because McMahon didn't want to take the women's wrestling serious, and joined TNA, who at the time hadn't have a real women's division at all. Kim help and work hard to build it.

Today WWE is taking its women's division more serious. They don't allow their champions to lay down for a lose. If they are not happy with someone, or have different plans for the belt, they just fabricate an injury and strip the champ of his/her belt! Yes, at the time the knockouts competed in a steel cage matches and ladder matches, the WWE women competed in a bikini and evening gowns battle royals, but today the things are really different. The women's evolution in WWE is far obvious, than ever, while Impact can't fix their Knockouts status and secure their careers.

So with three names shorter roster and one in hiatus, Impact women's  division is sort of a stuck in the nowhere!
