THOUGHTS ON DANA BROOKE'S EVENTUAL FACE TURN

Dana Brooke tried to be Queen-Slayer, last Monday (unsuccessfully)! What is the meaning of this? Is she overgrowth Charlotte's mentorship  or else?
This is sort of a face-turn sign, but it not means that she will jump into the poor face-section of RAW, brand (yeah we have one pure face - Bayley and the controversial face Sasha Banks). Now when Emma is on her way back as a heel, obviously, the need of faces in the Red Brand is obviously BIG!

But is Dana Brooke, good enough to be a babyface?

I must live to see that!

We had a conversation with KaiRen, yesterday about Dana's potential turn. For us it is hard to imagine her being a good girl, but I am willing to give it a try. Actually Brooke debuted and established herself as a heel. Really fan-annoying heel! I'm not sure if she could jump over her "plateau"-status (that's what Sara Amato said about Dana in Breaking Ground, that she have reached the plateau of her skills). Maybe this is the reson why these past weeks, she was used mostly as a valet of Charlotte (rarely) and to wrestle at Main Event!

This match last Monday, on RAW, was a sort of a nice presentation, what it will look like if Brooke turns face. That constantly packing-up her with other Superstars, has already caused some damage to her career. To be someone's protegee not always work well. Dana really fit this role, but is that what she needs? Maybe!

Brooke was called to the main roster, surprisingly, to support Emma in her rivalries with Becky Lynch and Paige. Bothe women worked well back in NXT, so the officials decided to try to transfer this alliance in WWE's main roster. It started well, until Emma got injured, prior their tag team evolution. That was sad, because Emma was a really nice "stepping stone" for Dana's career. They even had some barging in one fatal-4-way match. Emma and Dana were kind of equal, with sort of Emma's leadership in front, but it wasn't an internship - Master-Protegee relationship-like.

Then Dana, after weeks of absence, re-emerged on the surface as a surprising Protegee and ally of Charlotte Flair. Dana helped a lot to Flair, and several months ago was a vital part of her matches. But the Queen was always rude with her "pet"! For a long time the fans wished to see Dana facing her oppressor, we even were close to this situation in an earlier stage. But somehow Brooke displayed some sort of a foolish, fanatic loyalty to Charlotte.

This match, between them, is sort of a game changer. Now Dana has three opportunities - to become a single heel-competitor, to join the returning Emma or to turn face.

According to the huge disbalance between babyfaces and heels, the last one looks, forcefully, needed! Forcefully, because Dana is good as heel. In her role of annoying, overconfidence, narcissistic bimbo she is priceless. But as I said, upward - I am willing to see this experiment. It will be something different, for RAW, even if it is a short living.

My suggest is to change her attire first and to look at some more babyface, friendly look for her. Then to match her somehow with Bayley and Sasha. The best way for this is to bring them as a Dana's saviors from Charlotte's  and Emma's in-ring attack*! It will be nice to see Dana facing Emma, to establish her new turn!

Let's the experiment begins!

*I have a clear view of this one:
- Backstage segment: Bayley is talking with Dana, prior their tag team match against Charlotte and Emma. Bayley is forgiving to the obviously guilty for her past behavior Dana. Charlotte and Emma appeared and teasing Dana;
- The match ended with Dana slamming down Emma for the pin; Bayley and Dana celebrates;
- Post match attack. Bayley is thrown outside the ring. Emma and Charlotte attack Brooke, in a two on one assault;
- Bayley run in and takes Charlotte away, while Dana Brooke set up the things for a singles match with Emma, by applying her finisher on her;
