We saw Paige stripped off her NXT Women's title, because she was a then-Divas Champion and Sasha Banks defending and losing her belt in a explosive match! There are a lot of stories about title vacations and conditional dropping.
The title belts role is to elevate wrestlers. They can be award for hard work and dedication. They can be just a push or a little bit of a fresh air, i.e. awarded to someone unexpected (like Jillian Hall or Nikki Bella's 1st reign), to built a storyline or push returning wrestlers. With one word their role is to 'PROMOTE' the holder and the division. But most important element of promoting is THE WAY it is done! Because the way can be harming, like when Allie, then KO Champion just have to lay down for Maria Kanellis in Impact Wrestling, or when Sable won a Evening Gown match, to retain the belt, but the title was awarded to the Challenger Debra Marshall, who was 'more sexy in underwear' according to then Commissioner Shawn Michaels. Dark pages!!!
Now we are seeing Asuka, 500+ days ruler of the NXT Women's division, relinquish her well deserved title due to injury. And the rumors spread!

Do you realize what is the meaning of this? If they do this, they will turn the hard work, training and fight of NXT Women into NOTHING, ZERO! That is mocking of their accomplishments and erasing of everything they had working for! That is MADNESS! Talents like Ember Moon, Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross, The Iconic Duo, newbies (on TV, because they are not newbies in NXT anymore, after months of Live events participating) like Sonya Deville, Bianca Belair, Lacey Evans, Sarah Logan, even Mandy Rose and Vanessa Borne - all of them getting more and more known and confident in the ring, will be ROBBED!
I am not BELIEVING that Triple H, William Regal or any NXT Creatives will DO THIS TO NXT Women's division! I am sure and I hope that this time they will not prove me wrong, that they will not do it! Everybody knows how Paul 'Triple H' Levesque worked and put his heart for this development territory-turned World Brand, and how much he respect his strong women's division! I hope that this man will not allow this to happen!
We suggested inner tournament! If they had any fears about the fact the it will be close to MYC, I think that these fears are not valid! NXT crowd will enjoy another inner tournament with their favorite NXT women Superstars and even one-two names from WWE, for color! If that doesn't suits them they can make two fatal-4-ways, or four fatal-4ways ending in a #1 Contenders Fatal-4-Way match! Everything is great than giving up the belt to someone who have not accomplish anything in NXT, yet!
So we hope that hysteria will pass away and this rumor will be just a RUMOR!
