The Biggest event of the Summer 2017, for the world of professional wrestling is on the door!
This Sunday, at 7 PMET/4 PMPT we will see WWE RAW and SmackDown Live brands united for the 13th SummerSlam PPV.
This year we have two women's title matches, as each one of them is competitive enough to fight for the top spot! We are starting with the prediction and analyzes for Monday Night's RAW title. As we said many times, RAW is the brand with a lot of legacy in the women's professional wrestling. It was the home of amazing Champions like Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Jazz, Melina, Eve Torres, Mickie James and etc. It was the show where Charlotte Flair earned her 4 reigns and Sasha Banks followed her with 3. Even the Women's Revolution angle was set in there.
Now we have two amazing talents who will compete to affirm their legacy and accomplishments, at this Sunday's event! Who will win and who will loss?
It was never that hard to tell!
THE VICIOUS CHAMPION:
ALEXA BLISS - END IT WITH A TWISTED BLISS LIKE A GODDESS!
She may be as they call it 5 feet of Fury, the Wicked Witch or the Goddess, actually no matter how you call her the facts are speaking clearly - she is two time SmackDown Women's Champion and current RAW Women's title holder. The first one to do this! Little Miss Bliss overcome the skepticism, criticism, the nasty rumors, to be on the top of her game and the RAW women's divisions!
RAW authorities made a really good trade at the Shake Off, months ago and we are sure that they don't have a doubts about it!
ALEXA'S CHARACTER:
From Blueberry alike nice girl, to Red-hot, aggressive and spiteful Champion! Alexa Bliss is undoubtedly one of the most prospered Superstars in WWE this days. Actually that heel turn she made in NXT come back as a vital decisions for her future. Now she is the mean Goddess of WWE, who cuts insulting promos with an ease and so natural (excluding the fiasco with 'Bayley-This is your Life', which was honestly poor).
She is the theoretically underrated girl, who rebuild herself to become one of the most dangerous and looking to steal every opportunity vixen. Alexa's character is really well constructed and it's so natural, that sometimes it looks, like she is that evil and nasty beauty, in her real life. Everything related to her in-ring persona is amazingly, precisely developed and it looks realistic. That's why it's so well received!
FAN'S REACTION:
When the first accords of her entrance theme hits the ring, the audience went mad! The reaction is so positive, for a heel, that you can only stay stunned and watch with open mouth! Nothing wrong with this WWE! It's not unique experience, but it's really interesting! That means that aside from her villainous persona, the fans are respecting her overall skills and accomplishments! She entertain them on 100%!
Alexa's small talks are sometimes so good, that they can catch, the audience attention and to make us feel divided about her at all. I think that in Brooklyn, the reaction will be kind of different, but there will be and some welcoming chants, too!
SKILLS:
From the high risk moves like Twisted Bliss, to the simple Choke takedown or DDT, even a fake injured broken arm on display, Bliss is trying to be innovative and to present interesting things during her matches. Some people highly criticize her lack of chemistry in her matches against Mickie James, they criticize her matches with Naomi, but these two were totally unfamiliar people to work with, for her! Her matches with Bayley and Sasha Banks are different kind of stuff, because the three of them worked back there in NXT and one of the Bliss memorable feuds were against them. She is really athletic and we expect to see more interesting things from her. Most importantly she is a human being and sometimes she did a little mistakes, mostly in attempt to protect her fellow Superstars. Technically - maybe she is not like Naomi as a high-flyer or Natalya as a submission specialist, but she do what she can do and what she is comfortable with, and that is logical!
Her mic and promo skills are epic, and they helped her a lot to establish her character in WWE. As we said: They are just natural! From quotes like 'Mickie James, thank you that you are here, since your contemporaries Mae Young and Fabulous Moolah are not with us!', to something like 'I'm not good with names, too! You can simply remember me as the woman who beats you to be Raw Women's Champion!' (they are not literary cited). Sometimes she really nails it! So, her verbal and promo skills are really excellent and constantly developed, they fit well to her mean heel character and elevates it! This can only help!
THE BOSSING CHALLENGER:
SASHA BANKS - ONLY THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
Sasha Bnaks has her own transformation! From colorless rookie to pink-purple flamboyant competitor, dubbed 'The Boss of WWE(RAW)'! Banks walked her long and hard way from BFF through B.A.D., from NXT Women's Champion to three times RAW Women's title holder, looking to tie up the score with the fellow Horsewoman Charlotte Falir.
Sasha amazed ans stunned the WWE Universe since day one in the main roster. She wrote her book of legacy, but we all know that it's not over and that ready for every challenge Superstar, has a lot more to accomplish in WWE.
SASHA'S CHARACTER:
From heel and overconfident villainies to warm, loyal and fearless friend. That is a huge jump for someone, so ambitious and talented. I don't think that this affects her career. The door for another rivalry with Bayley is not closed, but at this point with only four babyfaces in RAW (The Boss, Bayley, Mickie James and Dana Brooke, eventually) against four heels (Bliss, Emma, Alicia Fox and Nia Jax), the odds and the opportunities for more fights are just great and the chances for a rivalry between the good friends, are kind of minimal.
Sasha is the good, glamorous role model. She is kind of different from Bayley, but at the same time she is exactly the same good example of a woman who won't stop chasing the dreams and the opportunities, without disrespecting her friends (at this point). Her character has a glimos of her old heel persona, but at this point it's a pure representation of respect, loyalty, self-confidence, dominance and positivity.
FAN'S REACTION:
WWE Universe doesn't have anything against some Bossing from the Boss! Sasha is "the OMG" factor of the RAW women's division and her thrust to conquer new horizons in the professional fields of WWE, is well accepted by the fans. They love her not annoying self-confidence, her desire for justice and perfect performances night after night.
She someone who worth their respect, with her hard work and unstoppable stream for more challenges!
SKILLS:
The Boss is extreme. She is not afraid to step into Hell in a Cell match, neither to compete in Falls Count Anywhere. Her wrestling skills are totally stunning and spectacular. But sometimes, she can be seen performing a little bit stiff. I remember how she performed a Diving hurricanrana on Charlotte, almost landing on her own neck. She spent a lot of time recovering from legitimate injuries, that there were some rumors, that Mr. McMahon is not happy with that. But this is the constant danger when you do risky moves. And we know that The Boss is not afraid to perform a highly dangerous stunts, with her fellow female - Superstars (like receiving wheelbarow suplex to the ring post from Emma or being swing in the barricade head first by Nia Jax). Sasha Banks knows very well her pro wrestling craft and her arsenal, can amaze you, every single time!
Her mic and promo cutting skills are well refined, and she is not stepping down for nobody. Using her Brooklyn slang and pronunciation from time to time or simply share her thoughts with WWE.com, the Boss definitely knows how to speak up for herself.
WHO WE WANT TO WIN: WE DON'T HAVE SPECIFIC DESIRE ABOUT THAT!
Yes, we don't have problem with any of them wining. We actually hoped Paige somehow to be involved in this match, but it looks like it's not happening, for now, though!
For us both women deserve to be Champions. We have pros and cons for both of them as a title holders, but overall, no matter who will won, we know that what coming next must be even greater for any of them.
WHO WE THINK WILL WIN: ALEXA BLISS
We think that Bliss' Book with Old Dirty Tricks is far away from over. There are still a lot of outside factors, like Nia Jax, who may play a vital role in the match, for good or for worst! As I said we don't have anything against one Girl from Norwich, to enter the ring surprisingly and win the belt! But for now, these are just a fantasies.
Bliss is the 100% suitable champion for RAW at this point! She can constantly revive and elevate her rivalries. She can involve herself in a fight with every Superstar in the Red brand's locker room, no matter if they are heels or faces. She is something like one-woman Lay-Cool reincarnation - the whole then Divas division, heela and faces were united against them. This is how Alexa is presented. Even her 'best friend' Nia Jax is not sure where the Goddess loyalty is laying.
Bliss 'song' is faraway from it's ending. We think that she has a good chances to retain her title, for future storylines. As we are not erasing the Boss chances to win! Just we think that there are several others who deserves a title shot or even reign, before Banks accomplish her 4th title goal.
