IMPACT WRESTLING RESULTS, APRIL 05, 2019: UNDEAD GRIEF AND SNEAKY CHAMPION

After the Undead Realm story reached its peak with Allie's death, this week we had some post-traumatic segment and one #1 Contender's match involving returning KO. Scarlett Bordeaux was presented as well.

GRIEVING ROSEMARY

Last week Allie's throat was slashed by Su Yung and the Bunny died in the arms of her demonic friend Rosemary.

This week we saw The Deamon Assasin grieving at the grave of her fellow KO and vowing an act of sweet revenge over those who caused her that much pain.

JORDYNNE GRACE defeated MADISON RAYNE,
IN A #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH

It's nice to see Madison Rayne home. After wandering through the world of wrestling on her own, which led her to WWE Mae Young Classic and ROH, Rayne who is 5-time Knockouts Champion returned in a match with high stake - a title shot against the current Champion - Taya Valkyrie.

It looks like she had that shot, but...

Jordynne Grace! One of the freshest KO talents (next to Scarlett Bordeaux) proves to be a huge mountain to climb for the legendary Rayne. While Madison had her moments (like one beautiful crossbody), Grace proved to be confident in her strength and dominate her opponent totally, destroying the competition with her Grace Driver, winning the #1 Contender's spot at Rebellion PPV.

HERE COMES THE CHAMP... AND THE SAVE

Of course, Taya Valkyrie, the current Impact Knockouts Champion, couldn't miss the opportunity to attack her challenger and to display dominance. It was a back-stabbing sneaky attack that caught Grace unprepared. Almost, because Jordynne put some offense before the arrival of the KO Champ's husband - Impact Champion Johnny Impact (you might remember him as Johnny Nitro or John Morrison in WWE).

Then the beat down from Taya continued and at one point Johnny was on the top rope ready for a hit on Grace when the Brian Cage, the #1 Contender for the Impact gold run in for the save.

Now that is an opening for a Mixed Tag Team match, next week. Why not.

SCARLETT BORDEAUX IS READY FOR MORE INTERGENDER ACTION

After winning an Intergender match last week, in her in-ring debut, Scarlett Bordeaux looks like she wants more of the same action.

This week she entered the ring to help Fallah Bahh to deal with Desi Hit Squad. She even hit the Squad, literally, celebrating with Bahh after that.

This looks like a set up for a tag team match as well, with an intergender element. Bahh & Scarlett vs. Desi Hit Squad. Interesting.

Actually, the whole Bordeaux appearance in Impact Wrestling is interesting. After a brief run with ROH, OVW, All American Wrestling and AAA, including some work as a Rosebud and a squash match against Nia Jax for WWE, it's nice to see what turn her career will take in Impact. And that Intergender matches wave that she started is curious as well. Could we see more of that?
