NIKKI BELLA VS. CARMELLA: FEARLESS MEETS FABULOUS!
The long awaited clash is going to happen this Sunday!
At No Mercy, Nikki Bella will finally has the opportunity to catch her nemesis in one-on-one singles competition. Their rivalry evolved and reach its point at the SDL's second exclusive PPV.
It's not clear if this fight will take a place in the main PPV's card or in the Kickoff. At the moment it's announced as a part of the main PPV, which is great. Both of these girls deserve to be part of that PPV and they worked hard to bring it to that point.
Carmella's unexpected turn was sort of a rush, but it work. We know that she debuted as a face, who was chased by the Queen of Hearts Natalya. When Nikki Bella returned and Eva Marie was suspended, there were no other option instead of bring a new heated rivalry and turn someone in Heel. They choose Carmella! Carmella has experience as heel in NXT and she was Fabulous doing it!
Nikki really needs to go back on track after a months out of the ring action, because of serious injury. Of course the NXT's alumni are in the push mode and The Princess of Staten Island and the Fierce Bliss, are winning these weeks.
Maybe on No Mercy, Nikki finally will defeated Carmella, because it's time. We'll wait and we'll see!
SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPION BECKY LYNCH VS. ALEXA BLISS: LASS KICKER VS. TWISTED BLISS
That is the first Becky Lynch's title defense. But that match is not important only for The Irish Lass Kicker. It's important for Alexa. It's important for WWE SmackDown Live women's division and the newcomers from NXT.
At last WWE SDL decided to be innovative and creative. What am I talking about?! Well, they can use the old rivalry between Natalya and Becky, but they decided to change the things about the women's division, drastically! And that is innovative and creative! Despite being a traditional and lazy, they decided to push their new assets and use them on maximum.
This match affects Alexa and Carmella's future. Why and Carmella's futur? As I mentioned it before, the NXT newcomers, come in the main roster with a lot of expectations put on their shoulders. Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Paige and even Emma, set the standards for the NXT's next generation in WWE and now Bayley, Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss and Carmella have to continue to keep the rating of NXT, high above the average, even above the excellent!
Alexa is a champion material, but it's too early for her. But that is not a reason for her to not give the best of her in that match. We hope to see a lot of great maneuvers and twists in it.
As for Becky. That woman worked really hard and she deserves to be where she is for a long time. Actually I want to se her competing an defending against the other three heels (Natalya, Eva Marie and Carmella) and why not having a friendly, sportsmanship one-on-one with her fellows - Nikki and Naomi!
We think that it would be too early and very rushed to book Alexa to win. No, she deserves title reign, but it's too early! Let Becky enjoy her title reign!She deserves that, too.
